... 1.5 years (depending on when you joined), you will be promoted, no matter what. Salary is decent. But the benefits are average. Free food in canteen is a big plus.

The culture is the four lettered word that begins with S and ends with T. The job safety factor is gone since last 2-3 years. They have started putting people in PIPs whenever their performance is not upto the mark. Most often, the performance is totally upto the perception of the TL and it's very very subjective. And the empirical data e.g. commits, quality of code, expertise is never examined before concluding. The usual culture of Northern Indian's Dukan and Bijness culture will be very visible here. As soon as you hit the SSE (senior software engineer) tag, they slowly discourage you from doing active coding and encourage you to take ownership i.e. you will do the job of a lead - partly team manage and partly code. Some SSEs virtually give up coding completely and only focus on mentoring juniormost employees i.e. SEs. This way, despite having hundreds of engineers in a team, their average velocity per person will come out to be 1 to 2 story points because, typicallys the SEs will be found working. SSE and above are just another figment of the management body actively involved in delegation ONLY. This eventual delegation model ruins the affinity for tech and the colleagues who have been with the system since long generally make it really really hard for anyone new to onboard, survive or grow. The training is almost non-existent. If you're lucky, you will learn on the job. If your mentor isn't wise, you'll end up doing whatever you know.. forever. Pioneering is heavily discouraged. New Ideas, especially from new peoplem aren't easily accepted. Basically, they want to keep peddling the old rusty cycle instead of upgrading to a motor bike, perhaps because the senior most employees are scared of speed, they fear that they won't be able to keep up. Often times, there will be out-of-support software which they don't upgrade until there is a zero day vulnerability. And here, they are very very afraid of taking risks. If there is a slight mistake by someone, they chastise them so heavily that the pioneering spirit almost dies in an individual.

No work culture . No role of HR . Just a start up like environment . Everyone needs to do everything and at anytime . No work distribution. Very very weak leadership team, EMs and Leads . Director and EM are just oversmart people .They have no idea about management or product improvisation. Just work any how on the implementation and change the logic after feedbacks from POs sitting in Europe . You won't feel like going to the office for work because of the leads and management. Soon planning for 5 days/week office .
