It is a government department in Assam taking care of Irrigation Projects in Assam, and is the backbone of agriculture water requirements for bumper crop production in the state of Assam.

Dislikes

Nothing, I was working there and retired as an Executive Engineer. Now I do consultancy work in Irrigation project on a free lance basis.It is an excellent developmental department in irrigation works with avenues of training and self-developments.

Pb Irrigation is State Govt Deptt.The project like BBMB which is under the control where I worked during my earlier period of service have got good experiences of various fields like Hydrology study,silt survey of Gobind sagar lake beyond Bhakhra Dam,grouting of under water damages of spil way creast,repair construction,and handling of project eastimates,account cash handling,later repatriated in state lining of canal & Distributries ,repair of canal falls cystren,floods control system & repair of Sutlej River Dhussi Bundh by constructing Stud, spur along Bundh

Work according to senior choice if u want to get promotion or ur QR + this al matters.Boss is always right no suggestion accepble
