Excellent company for learning new technology and pay wise it offers good salary . You have to build your personal network to move up the ladder and firm initiatives in parallel with your project deliverables , work life baalnce goes to toss to keep up with everything going on in the firm.

Dislikes

No client exposure. Lot of politics to keep mangers ,senior mangers happy.

...te that you work in Deloitte it gives a good impression nothing more than that . Annual Bonus of employees and increment is also something which was good in pre-covid times. Onsite opportunities are good if you get it. Another thing which could be impressive is that you get a feel that you are working in a very high standards of professionalism because of all the Jargans and cool sounding Business quotes.

Dislikes

Well Deloitte is perfect example of all that glitters in not gold. With all the talks around people matters ,Welcome to Deloitte , Ethics and what not reality is there is a lot of firing going on. Lot of employees have been put on IAP for a soft layout. Someone might also reason that these employees were performing below well that is not the case . Agree in two parameters out of three doesn't mean an IAP . This was not the case in pre-covid time . Suppose you are working day in out and day in your project but since you missed few DTE and your FI hours are below so you are an IAP candidate . Well keeping all this aside ... in public sector project technology is poor java, javascript , JSP who uses it. Basically I joined with abundance of skill sets but after working for 5 years my skill set reduced to zero . Now I wonder what should be added in skill section of my resume. Micro management is something very common in projects I worked . Well my say would be things which appear what they actually are is far far better than something which is being portrayed as something out of the world.

1. No work life balance as most of the projects have tight deadlines and people end up working 12 to 14 hours a day. 2. Micromanagement in some of the projects.

Salary was good and perks for employees are good.

Dislikes

Worst work management, all they need is work to be done irrespective of knowledge you had, if your are a java developer, they'll ask you write code in php and get it done ASAP. They say they'll follow agile methodology but in reality they follow spreadsheets and no billable hours given until you asked 100 times, in the mean time you'll get senior leader mails for not maintaining proper timesheets. Worst managers and worst projects. From my side don't go in the project called CALHeerS or FPACt

Salary, skill development, social recognition, party etc all are top class

Dislikes

Its a women leadership company. Favouritism and office politics are toxic. Too much wokism. Feedbacks are not direct. Coach and managers speaks with High sounding words, essentially means nothing. Unless you are aligned to their politics you are out
