Shifting from Bangalore to Hyderabad
I’m working in Bangalore for last 9 years. Currently I got 2 offers. 1. CTS - Bangalore (CTC - 22.7 LPA) 2. Deloitte - Hyderabad (CTC - 24.2 LPA) Is it good move to shift to Hyderabad for Deloitte ? Is it ok to ask the HR if my base location can be changed to Bangalore ? Please share your thoughts

Likes

Process oriented and good company if you want to learn with decent salary hike upon switch. Be very careful when you are asking for joining bonus because they will attach certain period if you leave before then you need to pay back.

Dislikes

From learning prospective it is good but if you care about work life balance and long hours then you are not good fit for deloitte. Some people is so good but most of them are over ambitious they spent 10 to 15 hours and they expect the same from others as well. They creates toxic culture otherwise company is good.

They pay you above market average but it is offset by your personal life imbalance. Till the time you are performing above average they like you. If it comes down even once you are flagged and then you are done.

Nothing as such for me. Yes many employees are there who do not know how to manage their seniors they start saying YES from the very beginning even if they are not able to cope. Hence they say bad things about the Firm. No company or firm is bad to me. If i am ready to say NO on face and give my best as much I can

Dislikes

Everything. If you are only after money, Deloitte is best fit for you. Other than that, the company has extreme work pressure which will not only hamper your physical health but also your mental health. I also came across pretentious and confused leaders who will nominate you for reward and recognition and PIP at the same time. Make sure to keep in touch with any psychologist for your mental health while working in Deloitte. Trust me you will need one!

Deloitte is a good pay master no doubt about that.All their onboarding program are top notch. But the only thing it lacks is quality leaders & poor work life balance. They treat human as machine.
