There is nothing to like apart from the name Dell.

Dislikes

Mostly no hike, no bonus, no variable salary, no proper transportation facility, not much opportunities throughout the Org. It's been more than 3yrs now, I got hike only once with nil variable payment. It's not only with me but its applicable to all employees.

Likes

Good Salary and Benefits, work life balance no strict timings as long as you complete the work on time. Lot of opportunities to learn new skills and people who can mentor if needed.

Dislikes

Every Quarter there will be a panic about Layoffs. Anytime you think of getting promoted you will be moved to a new team, and they will call it a team restructure and your appraisal and promotion will be delayed.

Likes

The culture and work life balance at Dell is excellent. There are learning opportunities depending on the job role.

Due to constant layoffs the job security isn't there. Also, compensation should be improved.

I don't see a single point as of now. This used to be best work life balance org, but not anymore.

The Work-Life Balance is becoming very poor day by day with expectations to work late hours and weekends without compensation, is particularly challenging. Compensation and benefits are below industry standards. The immediate management tends to be retaliative and blame-shifting, which creates a challenging and equally toxic atmosphere., The work culture is dying here, is toxic, pressuring employees to overwork. Too many long, unproductive meetings further reduce overall productivity. There are limited opportunities for career growth and advancement. Too much micro management at work by immediate leaders. Too much work over commit to higher management of immediate leader leading to employee dissatisfaction.

One of the best companies to work for. Leadership, strategy, growth and learning new skills are all in one package.

Dislikes

While they don’t pay as great as other competitors, they try the best to match. In Japan they were one of the best payers
