... once your in, every on thinks this is great culture. Backend is a world apart. Great parties, off-sites, merch, pay. Still lots of work and pressure, but a world apart. How you move up. Basically if you're not connected, you join retail team. Within 2 years build good contacts, and move into backend teams. Warehouse team is also ok, but they work a lot too. If you have family, avoid joining the company. Also there is a notion that no one will fire you, it's a very safe company, I have countless friends who have been asked to leave for the most random reasons. So they are not counted as layoffs. They have great sporty culture, which is good. But need to really weigh the pros and cons. Tons of friends who have worked for over 5-6 years, stuck in roles, with menial pays vs industry.

Now happily working in a Swedish company with greater culture. Work culture is just in talk and paper, not in reality.

On time salary. Holiday working bonus Monday sports.independent decision making.Team work. 2 weekoffs,your opinion is also considered.

Work life balance You will have to work like a dog mostly. Most of the time u have to work extra hrs which are unaccounted.no holidays on public leaves that means you wont be able to celebrate with your family most of the time.2 week offs are there but you will use it for sleep only as you will be physically exhausted completely after the 5 days worklife. Have to please everyone if you want to grow in the company.

Everything other than mentioned likes. Work is exhausting So called omni sport leader is nothing but a salesperson profile They make employees do all the work even housekeeping stuff They keep us work 11-12 hours a day No growth They just have showcased the fancy things to attract the youth

Good work environment and work culture. In Decathlon we are surrounded by people of almost similar age groups and which makes us comfortable to talk to and ask any kind of doubts without hesitation. Very supportive teammates.

Dislikes

Good salary but career growth is slow. The transportation is only for girls working late night.
