Dislikes

I do receive appreciation from client but they mostly go unnoticed during my appraisals. Managers do not value an individual strength. There is no motivational development programme & growth for employees. work pressure is very high. There is no leave policy. They asked you to stay back with no reason.

The pattern of working was terrible and dull. No sense of appreciation of work or efforts! Put lot of pressure on you to complete numerous tasks in a day. Made us do cold calling to the media which was senseless.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
