It's An IT Technology Company But Somehow They Managed To Keep Telesales Department...That's An only One Thing I Like.

Dislikes

One Of The Worst Department I Worked Under, I Even Forgot How To Work Properly. The Management Of The Team Is Totally Third Class,They Shows Partiality, Didn't Grant Our Weekoffs And Leaves, No Proper Understanding, Nonresponsible, They Put Huge Amount Of Work Pressure Every Two Hourly And There's So Many More Reasons To Write Them Off.

Covalense got a project to create a POC to introduce a Chat-bot of Unilever company and they hired so many people like they got the project and with an unworthy Project Head, they have lost it. I was from the first day in this project and unfortunately there were no documentation, for what we have to deliver, how it would be done, etc. I was helping all my colleagues from the first day and helped until my LWD. They were gems. But the director, he just gives random tasks that the client raises questions about and that too he forgets in the evening. I was asked to leave within two weeks I was made a permanent employee. Reason the HR said, is that, "I don't fir anymore, I must have been told." She further said that they tried to map me with other projects two times but I have failed both the interviews. One person with the web-development background interviewed me two times and I am having a background in ML. Obviously, I didn't pass it. Interestingly, I got to see how Karma hits back. So, this person who interviewed me, was inducted in my team. Few days later a task was given to him related to ML. He tried to solve it for the first few days, then tried to evade that task. Later, one evening he pinged and said, "Can you help me in this task in which I do not know even the first step how can I proceed?" I was awestruck. So because this person knows web development, who is a senior architect, who doesn't know ML, judged me on the basis of web-development knowledge he has, about my ability in ML. This director, who was managing this project, gives some task in the morning, and expects something else in the evening. On Friday evening call, he will lecture why you should also work on weekends. On Monday morning his first statement would obviously be, "any updates from the weekends?" During my Notice period, the director in the group chat said, "Good Work done" to me, my internal interviewer asked for my help in his task, and the HR said, "I don't fit anymore". Too much pathetic is the condition of mid-level and senior level management here. My suggestion would be to avoid this company in your career path.
