Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company has given me to work independently and taking the own decision on right time and I am glad to work in this organization,Our CEO is well matured and dignified personality and he works like down to earth and even he will grow along with the colleagues.

Dislikes

DIslike part is company is far away from my place, Travelling is hectic, apart from this no dislike matters.
