No salary hikes, among that don't don't join Sanofi project & in that Manisha dey is a worst candidate who takes revenge and she tortures a lot .... won't accept leaves, won't give promotions at all.. Worst candidate ever.

My experience was good because of my higher managers and teammates. The office culture is great regarding salary and bonus.

Dislikes

Our Manager's attitude and manipulation is not appreciated. Blame game gets you recognition and not hard work. They exploit you during peak season and professionalism is just a tool for managers. The team at Kolkata needs micromanagers and corporate game players not dedicated employees.

Job security depends on situations. Few of my friends were in bench for more than 6 months, happily receiving salary without joining any project. While one of my friend was dismissed from cognizant because of not reporting to office during bench time. It all depends on the lead., my last project lead is a good man but a bad lead, he is new to cognizant as well. He doesn't even hear your suggestions and made me lose 3 months of night shift allowances worth 18,000

Cognizant have lot of job opportunities and provide nice pay according to market standards. People working in cognizant can switch to other technology and work on it.

Hikes are very less when compare to other companies. Due to internal politics talented people efforts are recognised.

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion
