It's no longer a cognizant it was. They now follow use and throw when it comes to employees. There is no scope of growth because there are so many seniors who are waiting for promotion and people who worked there for 10-15 years will get promoted from senior to the next level. Stabbing competition, poor increment, raise, absolutely rubbish management. Was once a heaven to work has no turned into gate way to hell. Think twice before getting in. You'll enjoy Max to max 1-1.5 years then you'll know what's coming.

What I like most about cognizant is their toxic work culture and politics. To be honest, if there were jobs offers I wud have left cognizant, unfortunately my career is losing grip because of Emi's and rent pay. They just only pay you 20k for 4 years, no promotions, no awards, no recognition and no growth. And they ( Home Managers) fake all their policies and they humiliate people in front of all the teammates and colleagues, likewise in front of 40-50 group ppls if there is work done 80/100 % and if we ask about wholesome variables pay and incentives, they forced you to go to cognizant portal and give resignation. I have every screenshot of humiliation and disrespectful and cheating of my managers and other project heads

- Low salary - They will give you statutory bonus which we supposed to receive at end of the year at the rate 7-8% of our CTC but they will give you bonus based upon the rating. - No respect for the associate - You will be promoted if you're good licking management toes - They want you to obey them whatever they says like you're servant. - They'll demotivate you at various occasions and they'll also make you feel that they have done favor by hiring you as you don't deserve to be their without favor. - 10 hours work culture which will impact your health seriously as you have to be infront of the desk all the time apart from your break timings which is of 1 hour that means you need to spend 9 hours at desk, by doing so you won't get enough time to concentrate on your health. - No proper response from HR of we escalate anything as they will take the management side and will not listen to associate at all.

Have been working since 2yrs here...and am in Chennai team WFH. Working as data analyst. Cognizant literally wants to hire machine here. For WFH we are working for more than 15hrs everyday still they shamelessly ask on Friday evening that give names for Saturday working if we say I have some work so we have to tell them reason. People like freshers and those who are in so much need they are continuing this culture. I have escalated this issue to higher management Still no use and then real harassment started by my team leader. And now I can't bare this at all so no option except leaving. They fired 21 people from my project saying we don't have project They doing this since long time when they hire that time they tell you different projects and then literally send you in voice process and tell you that it's for few days after that you can change the process but they don't allow you to change. They don't give Com Off. No Indian holiday and no US hollyday even. Now I am in notice period and I lost my 38 leaves for last year. Now also they do so much drama for 1day leave even. I really request you to people who in need of job... please don't join here you will literally cry everyday. It's only brand name but there's no leave benefit and no appraisal you will get 2 ratings every year. If you do buttering then ya 2 n half rating but forgot about appraisal. For your marriage you will get 4days (own brother sister marriage leaves not granted)leaves for engagement if your working from home they will say for function you can be offline once finished login or else you can work on Saturday and Sunday..(if WFO you have to work from home)..😊 so many things are there which can't mention here...so please don't join here....🙏
