Management here has no idea on how to manage teams, collaborate with others and how ro adrress their subordinates. A lot of office politics. Very toxic work environment. No one here talk about progress. Just focused on how to survive in the company.

Company culture is good but their implementation is poor because it is in the hand of Indian leadership who has biased approach when it comes to employees growth. They don't value tenure associates. They promote their favorites even if they are not eligible.

... TMP portal & now they are not responding to me. I have been working here for 5.5 years, but my salary has not grown as per my experience range. I was always one of the top performer even my last rating was 5(top) but they are not going to give even 10% hike. For others they increased the salary on the name of market correction but when I asked they simply denied there is nothing as such in Cognizant. I will never recommend anyone to join this company...

The management want everything to be done by EOD. They hire for digital marketing, but later make you do different work. Google is exploiting people by using cognizant. Some team leaders and managers take sleeping pills due to stress given by managers

There are some good points working here: 1. Free food by the company 2. Cab facility 3. Good work environment

...Even people with 2-3 years of experience with this company are being terminated. So if the company comes on cost cutting there's a knife at everybody's throat. 3. HR: The HR department are uncooperative, even the hiring process is slow. Don't expect any kind of help from your HR in any kind of documentation or any kind of favors. 4. Politics: See it's everywhere, people gets promoted for honey coated talking or fake laughs at your TL/Manager's jokes. If you're expecting you'll work hard an get promoted, don't join. 5. Notice period: The notice period is for 3months. So you need to full fill that period to leave this company with proper documentation. 6. Leaving Experience: My full n final settlement and experience letter is still not provided by the company and it's being around 2months already. Just imagine. They'll just keep you in loop every week that we're still confirming that you've submitted your asset (ID card/laptop/headphones) or not.
