... for appraisals not on the basis of performance but on the basis of experience . They have reduced pay for employees and gave the same pay one year later with the name as salary revisal.

Company is good but salaries and hikes are upto the mark and only IT engineering graduates and higher management only get good enough of packages but Non-It graduates like MBA and degree graduate candidates won't have good enough of salary compensation and overall company is OK not too good and not too bad.

Salary hikes promotions and packages.

The thing I really appreciate is, Cognizant gave me alot of opportunities to learn new things how to work under pressure. My seniors were very much supportive. I have always taken there feedbacks very positively. They have also appreciated my work. Which encourages me to learn new things and grow daily. How to nail every task we do. It was overall a very good experience there.

Dislikes

...ovide good growth, got great opportunities there to learn new task, new project. But compensation is not good.

Good environment in work and company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.Company offer many benefits to employees like work from home, insurance,meal card and etc..

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues.Salary is decent but career growth is slow.

Cognizant is a typical service based IT company. It has a similar work-life balance, salary/ benefits, career progression, management, and job culture similar to other service-based IT companies.

Dislikes

Work life balance is defficult to manage.shifts are hectic some times, it hard to do night shifts.
