Work is not overloaded. Approachable manager and teammates. Salary is above the market average

Diversity is an issue because almost all of the colleagues are from India. In turn, the culture of the company has geared toward Indian culture. You can't raise issues or suggestions and expect to be heard. Expect that the management will always push what they want even if it is not workable.

Cognizant have lot of job opportunities and provide nice pay according to market standards. People working in cognizant can switch to other technology and work on it.

Dislikes

Hikes are very less when compare to other companies. Due to internal politics talented people efforts are recognised.

But if you give more importance to mental health than salary don't join this company. You are literally a slave of the client and no body will speak for you.. and if your too lucky to get a client like Novartis(pharmaceutical company) and especially get into celonis tool project then you can say bye bye to your mental health and just hug the salary you get and stay. Working hard is not the issue but the politics they play and the slavery you guys will experience is more than what was done in the colonization period. Hope everyone understands my mental health state currently and would deeply analyze before joining cognizant or Novartis.

Cognizant has strong capebilities in delivering technology services with a robust support. People are satisfied working here but since past couple of years company has not given ample opportunitiesto employees in terms of growth and compensastion

Not good approasal No timely appraisal No promotion policies No standard salary parameters as per exp No benchmarking for compensastion
