...ure. Work life balance depends upon the project/manager. Poor appraisal process. No fair compensation for hard working employees. Too much internal politics. Hike only in single digits.

Promotion process is very slow. Too much compensation given to external hires. Instead try to give hikes to eligible associates working in the company.

Working at cognizant really helps me a lot both in personal and professional way .The work life balance & company culture was good and the allowances they provide apart from the salary was excellent...I really enjoyed my 3 years at Cognizant.

Dislikes

One thing I dislike about these companies are there is no guarantee of job security...they will pick 10/15 employees and moved them to different project within the company (internal movement)..which I think is a part of business but needs to be reviewed....

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Dislikes

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

1. Low job security 2. Forcing people to work from office(ODC) 3. Mostly support projects 4. Very low transparency with poor management 5. Work satisfaction is very average
