There is no company level interaction. They will hire you, once you in no one will interact with you from cognizant side. Full time you have to work with client. No manager interaction , no one is there with you if something happens to you. There is concept of Home manager and business manager, both are there for no reason. They will not help in any case. If you have problem they will hear you once you ping them and no action.What ever you perform in client side even you are best or worst hike will happen on average. No impact of working hard or best performance, your hike will be very average. I prefer NOT TO JOIN THIS COMPANY. They will offer 2-3 lakh extra from market and due to those 2-3 lakh you have to suffer allot. NO JOB SECURITY any time they put you on BENCH and from bench you yourself have to search the project and if not you are fired. To join this company was my worst experience and decision. Please dont join for the sake of extra 2-3 lakh of ctc…

...ant to say DO NOT join this company. You will have to switch again in 1 year. They will give you 2-3 lakh extra and joining bonus also and joining bonus will have 1 year bond. So you will wait for 1 year to leave this company. I want to talk more about this but please stay away. They will not consider your tech stack whole assigning you a project. I was java angular react developer with microservice exp also. If client need you to work on linux or python developer you have to work because you are tagged to client and cognizant will not help you here.

After coming from a general background it gives you a lot of exposure. If someone can grab the opportunity, he/she can get befitted.

Dislikes

The pay is low & in this low pay they ask employees to come to Bangalore. Some project managements are not that good. When asked for sick leave they ask to work after taking 2 hours of rest.

Nothing, infact the salary amount was also "nothing" in terms of knowledge.

Very insecure job, seniors behaviour and mental pressure, politics all are at top in terms of number. So one line ,"Be aware of Cognizant giving any skims".

Its a very nice company to start your career at cognizant A better workplace for freshers, to learn and explore yourself

Each and everything is good but as a process executive the salary growth is not very nice.
