Cognizant has large number of client in various domains providing a lot of opportunities across the world. I have got an opprtunity to work at different locations and in diversified tools and technologies and various domains. It has helped me build a robust career and helped me grow along with the organization.

Dislikes

Frequently changing revision cycles, changing promotions process and cycles and very less salary hikes. Also for the veteran employees, salary standards are very low compard to the market standards

Only good thing is you will be having learning options as they have partnered with udemy. Although you will not get the time to increase your skill set and learn new things due to forced labour and extended shifts.

Dislikes

...so you will not be paid OT rather extra day. and that to 1/4 of your daily wage. So it is forced labour along with cut off pay. Please in management and superior role will harass you if you blow the whistle and eventually move you to PIP or force you to work for extended hours. No rewards and recognition provided even though you put your best of the best. Please join only if you want to suffer being in hell. It is the worst organization with zero preferences and values for the employees.

Initially we were very much happy to work with. However, work life balance and the amount of work is not satisfying compared to the pay. Considering the female associates wfh option should be made available which is a big drawback.

One of the best employee centric company in service based industry, recent statements from leaders from other organisation is shameful and treating their employee as daily wage labourer but thankful to my company leadership who has great vision and decisions are made towards employee focus. Company is still following hybrid model and no fixed days yet.

Dislikes

Promotions and appraisal are not process based, frequent change in salary increament schedule are changed and also arrear are not paid for 3months.
