1. You will get good hike when you come here from another company. 2. Provides internet allowance. 3. Provides you cab if your project allows 4. Managers and Senior Managers are too good

Dislikes

1. No extra benefit other than salary 2. Very poor hikes 3. Very less learning opportunities 4. They dont give you WFH even if you dont have anyone from your project from your location. They will still ask you to come to office 3 days a week.

...O everything is CTS downfall started. Earlier we used to get hike twice a year. Now we’re working on same salary since last 1.5 years. Earlier we used to get minimum 7-8% hike in every appraisal. Now after 1.5 years we got only 3% hike in which top performers got 4.5% hikes. Ravi literally made CTS a joke. No Diwali gifts now. No free food in office. No cultural events celebrations.

Likes

Lots of learning, working on good projects and technologies. This makes cognizant a good choice to start career. Work culture is good. Managers, senior managers, director, AVP all are very helpful, well-mannered with even juniormost employee, within reach at all times and very understanding in nature.

Dislikes

Compensation is terrible. Growth and promotions are also very bad. Onshore opportunities are pretty limited. Things are so bad that people almost give up on progressing their career within cognizant and end up resigning after waiting for years. Company is negligent towards employees, they never have funds for anything, no incentives or perks, no team outings provided by company or client. All this leads to zero employee satisfaction. All they want is employee should work good, do certifications and what not for the growth of company but company will never do anything for employees.

Nice Premises. On site opportunities are many if you find the right project.

...ir competitors like Accenture etc. and when they perform bad bonus is real bad. But it is arguable as i heard Infosys gave a rise of 100 rs hike in monthly salary to one of my friend .P

...ith. But I should say it also purely depends on the team which we have put into. The salary is higher for freshers and lateral compared to other companies.

Dislikes

We cannot expect good ratings and promotion even if we deserve it. As they ask you to work 10 hrs continuously, you will not have time to develop your skills.
