I joined as PAT in Chennai. Salary should be little more because we need to bear all our expenses.

I like the culture in cognizant. Satisfied with work and mainly helps to provide an opportunity to learn and explore new technologies and other organisational activities. Cts also provides the outreach program which is helpful in focusing on our personal interests. Job Secure and Risk Mitigation Prevention programs

Long term projects but mainly support projects. Flexible work timings On time salary and some increment every year Scope to show case your skills

Every time you have search for the projects once your current project ramp down

They offer competitive salary package. That’s all.

Dislikes

There’s no job satisfaction or personal growth. Enough toxic people up there in the management. So don’t expect any support. It’s all about billing. Also you need to complete a ton of courses and most of them are irrelevant or obsolete, so it just eat your valuable time. Most of the time we have to spend our personal time to do all these since there will be project deadlines.

1. Carrer growth🤧 2. Salary hikes ( 4 percent for 5 ⭐ 😮‍💨) 3. Less projects for freshers. Most of the freshers will be on bench or be non billable without work for more than 1.5 years. Then force them to give up if they are still not billable😴. 4. Relocation: This is one the worst thing in the company, If you are working in your desired city it's good. But, most of the times you may have ODC in your city but still they call you/force you to relocate to CHENNAI otherwise you should put the papers, which is one of the worst cities in India to live with respect to language, weather, food, pgs/flats availability, which is subjected to cyclones every year and you will struck in the middle.
