Job security depends on situations. Few of my friends were in bench for more than 6 months, happily receiving salary without joining any project. While one of my friend was dismissed from cognizant because of not reporting to office during bench time. It all depends on the lead., my last project lead is a good man but a bad lead, he is new to cognizant as well. He doesn't even hear your suggestions and made me lose 3 months of night shift allowances worth 18,000

Nothing much, it's average service type company with decent salary. But leaves are good. 30 leaves per year in a service company is really commendable.

Dislikes

1. They hire based on prospective projects, and often the projects don't land. And then they have very limited time on bench, hence job security is an issue. 2. Work from office schedule is very strict, there should be some flexibility. 3. No proper employee benefits such as outings or lunches or parties, all they care about is billing. 4. Little too much of micro-management

My team is really nice, and it's not the case with all the other teams.

Dislikes

Salary, benefits, appraisals, recognition is non existent. Plus there's a lot of politics here, so much that you'll wanna rip your hair off

Cognizant is the best organisation in terms of working, learning and development but poor part is Salary increment is very less and promotions almost not getting

Existing employee didn't get the upto mark salary and promotion.

The work culture is positive and the facilities are excellent. Cognizant provides ample opportunities for professional development and knowledge expansion.

Dislikes

...rk using Teams, it would be more efficient to allow employees to work from home. With such less salary and hikes it is impossible for one to work here.
