Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The CTO is good but team is not.

Dislikes

Work life balance is not good and you have to do every type of work doesn't matter if you know about that work or not doesn't matter it is related to your focus area/skills. No one is there to guide you, maybe you will be knowing more than your manager. Also there is lots of politics between each team.

Nothing to like. Worst company ever.

Dislikes

So much internal politics and no work life balance. Leadership favors a few people, and guess what, all favored employees get better hikes then the hardworking ones. Super biased towards a few female employees who get all the appreciation even if they contribute peanuts to the work. Only Chaatus survive in this company. Never join. Please ignore google and linkedin reviews. They are forced to be written by employees.
