New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Nothing to like in this organisation..

Dislikes

1.There is no work life balance... 2.haven't received my full and final settlement (variable pay, leave encashment etc..) after served almost 18 months in this company.. 3.internal tools are not working properly... So, at the end we have to take burden on our head due to this tools issue(many outages) we have to validate manually for all those systems...

Everything. Variable salary will be digested by company by stating some reason. Poor increment. Job security is horrible. If in sales every month you will receive threatening that you job is in stake. PIP is common way. Also Don't expect F&F

... customers. Non-technical management only cares about number of tickets handled. Worst policies around leaves, pay, benifits. No job security, offensive language used my senior management multiple times over call, meetings. Don't care about customer services

...house. Hire and fire policy in Sales Mumbai even if you are doing your number. Don’t expect variable pay. I recommend not to join in Sales mumbai.
