It breaks my heart to see such a massive cultural shift with change in roles and responsibilities. Have to give it to them that they came to India and got us all in with their REAL values. I still think they firmly believe in those values. But unfortunately someone is leading the baton of regress for the office in India.

Dislikes

...vibe now and maybe waiting for a complete turn around of the existing employees. You work with x, your year end feedback is given by y and the year end compensation is decided by z. Pray you don't get into a problem. Because whatever is the course of action later, YOU WILL NOT BE HEARD.

...once in a while just to get together as a team. The PTO is very nice of 25 days. My salary is average and I believe the benefits are good, however maternity and paternity leave could be a lot better.

Dislikes

Promotions and raises only occur once a year. Evaluations happen semi-annually however it is hard to be promoted and grow your skills with a strict schedule and timeline. You can be stuck doing the same skills for a year before being able to be promoted or get the compensation you deserve for going above and beyond and possibly doing the work someone with the title above you would be doing.
