Can't say about other departments but in my team there was nothing to like

Dislikes

...ect a basic level of respect and work life balance at work place then stay away. They even expect you to work on public holidays but wouldn't care to pay you or grant compensatory leave for that. Seniors are more interested in bossing around rather than execution of real job. The work culture is extremely toxic to say the least. People who are working here are either finding opportunities to leave or so frustrated that they have no hope left.

...ar BAU and some times Adhoc request like download data from perticular database. No promotions, poor salary hikes.

Salary hikes, worklife balance, friendly people and staff except some seniors from your department.

Dislikes

Seniors are not helpful and Losing Job as new boss is from another bank and wants to bring in his whole team

Good compensation and insurance policy and benefits .. Teammates are supportive it depends on the team you get . Manager can be good based on the team you get

Politics ... No transperancy regarding promotion and work allotment ... Career growth can happen if you are self motivated ...

Citi has multiple initiatives to help employee skill themselves, also it provides good compensation to right candidate who is at right place at right time.

It's advantage of having options for employees to skill themselves remains a distant fruit to most of starting or mid level workforce as most of those spend maximum of their time and overtime working/supporting daily application. Have got the same feedback from most of people. So after spending some 3-5 years with organization there is high probability that you would feel lagging behind your other friends working in similar organization and would feel difficult to switch.
