Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

High pay. Basic pay is satisfactory. But the incentive is as same as the salary during peak season. But comes with more running around.

Dislikes

No leave. Even during Christmas and Onam you won't get a single day off being in this post. Even office staff has to fight for their off days. Too much running around. To the airport and hotels. On the two wheeler especially !! Its a 24*7 job you can never keep your phone switched off or on silent after getting this job. The company literally owns you 24*7 ! They pay..and buy you. Go only if you are desperate for money

I have been working with Cholan family since 2017, it has been a wonderful experience being associated with Cholan Tours. I was joined as a Fresher Immediately after completeing my degree, now with this 05 years experience, i have gained a lot of Knowledge and personally i have improvised my skills

A great CEO who loves India and its culture and wants all his employees and stakeholders to absorb the different dimensions and beauty of Tamil and India

Dislikes

Nothing much, Corona became a major problem for all travel companies. While many succumbed to it, Cholan Tours survived the storm and we are sailing chest up, anchoring the ship of hope and happiness.
