Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Unprofessional management is running this institution without any kind of moral values and ethics. They are degrading the name of Chinmaya day-by-day through this below average org. Not an organized educational institution beginning from administration to management. No benefits to staff and faculty. There is no proper HR system. No appraisal or review. It is just a one-man show and pseudo Chinmaya members get preference in administration and management.

One of the worst institutions that is looting students and faculty in the name of Swami Chinmayananda. Never ever apply to this institution. Literally, a cartel is overseeing the operations of this below average education firm. Parallel colleges are far better.
