Likes

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact that I am a side engineer in this project.Sometimes travel different historical place in companies car.Working environment and learning opportunity is good. The work was done with team ways and the job security depend on agreements.

Dislikes

The working time is long but not paid over times opportunity.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
