Retention offer
Hello, Current offer from CG - Total 21.5L, fixed as 19.4 and rest bonus Retention offer from Deloitte - Total 19.1, fixed as 15.5 and rest bonus (4L) I understand the offer is less but my manager explained that Deloitte's hikes are better in the market and on an average, I can get 15% every year with good performance. The same hikes in CG are around 5-6% so financially, my salary growth will definitely be more in Deloitte. Please give me suggestions. I have good management and projects in Deloitte with WLB but I would like to have some perspective on offered CTC too

Salary is ok. However, it is less than the govt. norms of 7th CPC. They are not following 7th CPC properly.

Dislikes

There are too much politics in the department. And, obviously too much administrative work load. If you want to do some research, you will not get any time for that due to administrative work. Senior Faculties are not at all cooperative.

The student intake quality is more or less good. Overall student grooming is good

Dislikes

No reciognition for good teachers. Upgradation of the existing infrastructure is very slow process. Acquiring things for college purpose too very tedious and time taking process.
