Career growth over here is constant and not exponential, very minimal scope of innovation and new technology.

- Excellent work culture in Testing projects - Helpful teammates - Least opportunity to learn cutting edge technology, worst training features - Job Security is never a concern. Work life balance is a pro. - Career growth is a bit stagnant due to large number of hiring and few opportunities - Payscale is low. they try to compensate with yearly appraisal but sometimes that is also not up to the mark

Dislikes

Pay scale is low. Appraisal evaluation has no proper record, solely depends on reporting manager. Performance should be evaluated properly.

Likes

... very big customers, I have learnt a lot of business, Work life balance is good. Salary hikes were awesome. A lot of Travelling opportunities are there.

Dislikes

I didn't like Politics there, many managers used to favor people from their region. I would say there was no innovation, or minimal innovation. Beside that I did not get to work on a famous test automation, which is highly in demand and they do not use it was the only reason I left.

Likes

Depends upon project and business unit. For me , here in DataCycle360 and Wealth360, work is excellent means, you will get more and more work if you are able to do quickly so, learning opportunity is excellent, technologies is also decent as per industry, but if i think independently and don't compare with other company then carriers growth (salary) in terms of appraisal is not good.

Dislikes

Appraisal, salary growth within CGI, Hybrid mode of working, WFO, In terms of quality and quantities work delivered - More work is there based on current 9LPA CTC of promoted SSE atleast for me, by comparing with external hired SSE which takes 19LPA. So, Switching to other company is good rather than getting Promoted within CGI.

Definately a great place to work if you are less ambitious about financial growth. Almost zero micro management. Perfect place for experienced people to get settled or for longer run.

Dislikes

Not at all recommended for freshers. Very less salary hike and confusing apraisal cycle. Unnecessary hierarchy and complex organisation structure. Full off useless managers only drawing huge amount of salary just by talking in calls 2-3 hours everyday. IJP & internal trainings are all showoff. No use at all.
