Very employee friendly company. Company financials and reputation in North America is very good. No dearth for projects. Moving from one BU to another is easy. Very flexible culture when other IT companies are forcing and threatening employees to return to office, CGI is requesting members to come to office atleast once a week. Senior management is very approachable and open to ideas.

Dislikes

Salary is lesser compared to market standards. But it is ok while considering the flexible work culture and job security. My 6th year in the company and I still love going to work everyday.

Dislikes

Poor increments, average salary and delayed promotions owning to internal budget issues. Out here South Indians hold all key positions and are preferred over other zone employees for opportunities, increments and promotions. Laterals hired recently are getting paid more salary then long term loyal employees owning to dissatisfaction and frustration at work. It has been observed even laterals overall package have been normalized in each cycle making them earn less than market value.

Nothing to say, only thing is less variable pay, but for that we can't lose our career by joining CGI

Worst ever company, I have seen. Very poor HR policies, treat employees as tissue papers and throw them out when they don't need. Don't know HR is there are not, reporting manager decides and speak to us about every thing. Don't join and lose your career for sake of meager money!!!!!

...s recognition but when it comes to compensation they won't even give basic hike. If you put down papers suddenly they wake up and match the offer salary to some extent
