... speak their own vernacular tongue only. But that’s not true for all projects. Compensation too depends project to project, but in my case politics affects it. NO ON SITE EVEN BEFORE COVID. Using backward tools and technologies. Managers (again in personal experience) don’t allow growth, afraid the member may leave later. Also, Bangalore and Hyderabad have better growth than Chennai office.

I loved the work culture of CGI and we are able take skill development programmes without limitations.

I'm not happy with salary and benefits. For experience people they will pay but not who joined as freshers.

Very employee friendly company. Company financials and reputation in North America is very good. No dearth for projects. Moving from one BU to another is easy. Very flexible culture when other IT companies are forcing and threatening employees to return to office, CGI is requesting members to come to office atleast once a week. Senior management is very approachable and open to ideas.

Dislikes

Salary is lesser compared to market standards. But it is ok while considering the flexible work culture and job security. My 6th year in the company and I still love going to work everyday.
