New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. It's been such a privilege to work for this organisation. I have permanently worked from home throughout my tenure of 1.7 years and the people in this organisation are so inclusive, friendly and motivating. I never felt that I didn't meet any of them ever, they are so welcoming. I got very good opportunities and good projects to work on and I have learnt a lot and grown as a person. CCS will forever be in my heart. The best decision of my life was to join this company.

Working as team in CCS is a great experience. The motivation and enthusiasm from the team lead, combined effort during critical situations and knowledge sharing by the team members.
