Only salary and benefits are good, since there is a bipartite negotiation system for wages, which is good at officers cadre but dismal for clerks.

Interdepartmental cooperation, dedicated helpdesk not available, long working hours, rural postings

Just that it is a government bank and hence somewhat a secured kind of job.

Everything. From working culture to salary to work environment to infrastructure. Everything is just below the lowest mark. Can you imagine in many branches there is no washroom! Forget about a hygienic one. Most of PCs are of 2003-2004 and the LAN connection is terribly slow. No sufficient staff, inhumane behavior of the superiors. One of our officers was not allowed leave in the occassion of his mother’s death. So you can imagine what the situation is. We get pea-nuts in the name of salary. Our scale II officers even get less salary than a sweeper of Central Government. And mind it I am not exaggerating in this matter. I can say more and more but I think I have said enough to understand the situation.

Salary is good now due to bipartite settlements . Now new PLI is also introduced by Finance Ministry for levels above executive cadre

Dislikes

Work culture is too bad. Looks good ONLY from outside. Those who don't care of their ego , self esteem , family life, health can still enjoy working here by listening anything from their Management.

Working in PSB is satisfied in point of job security and also good salary package.

Learning process is slow because only single officer handel all type of branch work like loan assessment MSME loan Retail loan agriculture loan SMA follow up NPA management etc
