New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Work culture is really toxic, even if you work for the organization for more than 1 year you're nothing to them (no job security) regional office staffs (including HR) Are not at all supportive.

Average Salary is good. Still no work Life balance.

Dislikes

Don't expect work Life balance in this company. They will make you work even on Diwali & probably every important day where you should be with your family. Always managers will taunt you about how layoffs could remove you if you don't work your a off. Really bad culture, no personal life.

Worst platform ever as they cut your salary even though you were working due to thier criteria. Please dont join seeing their Package itself incase you need a LIFE. I had my manager good but the cultural is too bad too bad. Please find something else. Please request

...'t want to talk on Call and by hearing byjus name on Call,Clients use Bad words.got to learned how to Convince and Convert them to pay on Call.Handling Pressure and Maintenance Good quality with Customer.

Dislikes

Byjus won't provide any service to Customer's.No proper Study for Students,proper Tabs and Service. Byju's is taking proof's from Customer which is linked with govt card. Making them threatening,4 Bounces at in 1 month,BYJUS Customer's are innocent but the Company is doing online Digital Rowdyism. Even for Byjus employees are not getting Clearance on F&F settlement.
