Robotic response. They have policies which are compliant with all government standards but always fall on the lower side. For example, during covid period, they allowed everyone to work from home till the point government rules forced it. The moment government said people can go to office, they forced everyone to come to office, no matter what. A friend of mine and his wife both worked with Broadcom, and they had a baby about 1 year old. They were stone cold to their mental state. Imagine both parents travelling to office, without any dayhome for the kid and forced to manage somehow, or quit the job.

Career growth - Employees hit glass ceiling very soon. Lack of career progression Work environment politics from mid level management. Bias towards free loaders. Poor work life balance

Nothing much other than salary.

Dislikes

Job security is always at risk in Broadcom. You never know when is your turn to be thrown out. It doesn't matter if you are a performer or you have good tenure. Not at all employee centric, requesting people to come to the office during Covid. Also, no appraisals even when the company is in huge profits.
