...ed by the Stakeholders and pay lowest salary in market value to their employees. They don't even follow payband salary structure. For example, they do not pay the minimum salary of paybands 4 and 5 to employees and lie about policies all the time. There is no retention policy in place and utter disrespect and politics in Shared services center. They will keep changing your designation but the pay will remain same no matter what.

British Council is a amazing place to work. I have been working in Ahmedabad as an invigilator from last 12 years. We get so many learning opportunities and everyone is very helpful. I ensure the candidates understood and follow the guidelines of the British Council during the exams.I have learned to deal with candidates and people that has different perspective in life.Personally I can see improvement in my communication skills.I love working here.

As far as job related I think they should raise the salary and give some incentives to the employee.

The company dont provide salary on time and when u try to talk to there management they didn't responend. This is worst thing I even seen in a company.

Small thinking management. Lot of politics, No professionalism. Any body can be the head of any department which is the draw back this organisation. If a person is from accounts they are heading IT team & you can imagine what would be the future of the team & organisation.
