It's a great place to work at.. it has good work environment, good compensation.. no variable pay.. regular bonus and increments. Good number of leaves and highly qualified people to work with. We learn something new every day. And good work life balance.

Work culture is very good. Best policies for employees. Higher management is wonderful, you can easily reach to anyone and they will solve your problem. Best platforms provided for learning and self development.

Dislikes

Just that they shoud increase the salary of existing employees. They are giving good pay to new joining, they should do market adjustment once for the employees who have joined with very low pay.

BNY will hire with good package and immediately within 4 months they do plans to terminate employees move to pip again to warning plan then terminate with in a year, even your performance is good and met all organisation's requirements. Some attitude showing manager will decide your future

There is nothing to dislike about the company. Just need to highlight few things that BNY should pay attention to their loyal employees who were working since long time through paying salary or promotion as per current market standards.

The company is going through a lot of senior leadership changes. Favoritism starts at the top, senior leadership having acquaintances with colleagues from JP and Morgan Stanley have taken over and existing ppl are being discarded in a dishonest fashion. There is a sense of insecurity across the floor. And senior leaders are not doing enough to pass on a sense of security (I think they are trying to save their own positions and somewhere got lost) I have heard lot of stories, people being told to leave the bank. As a knock on effect of it, lot of good resources have moved out on their own. Overall, culture is the most important thing that drives employees performance and defines goodwill of the organisation. Currently, though senior management is trying to change the culture a big way, I can only see lot of negative outcomes so far instead of positives.
