salary on time, learning new tech stack, multiple project exposure, supportive leaders in India
The CTO is textbook of example of how poor leadership can destroy an organisation. the CTO is the most non-technical and illogical leader the company ever encountered- completely incapable of understanding or driving the technical and strategic needs of the company. he lacks vision, demonstrates irresponsibility and undermines the team with constant distrust and micromanagement. his inability to lead is glaring, and his decisions are consistently poorly throughout, wasting the company's financial resources and morale. team being squandered on ill-conceived projects with no clear strategy or financial oversight.
its shocking that management continues to back someone so utterly incapable, pouring money into plants without due diligence or a clear blueprint. the CTO bypasses authority, bulldozers over input from experts, and runs the company like a personal dictatorship. his control freak nature, complete disregard for financial prudence, and outright refusal to accept accountability make him a liability. the CTO's arrogance, micromanagement, and inability to lead by example are actively driving the company into the ground. This is a cautionary tale of what happens when leadership fails at every level. The current leadership is the perfect example of how bad decisions at the top can take a company down. unless the management recognizes the failure steps up, reevaluates their blind loyalty to this individual, and implements real changes and takes corrective action, they are essentially endorsing incompetence at the highest level, jeopardising the company's future.
In stark contrast, the new sire lead is everything this company needs to succeed. highly technical, straight-talking, and exceptionally logical, the sire lead consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of the business and its long term potential, vision- focused and solutions -drives, this individual has the capability to turn things around if given the reins.
where the CTO fosters chaos and inefficiency, the site lead inspires clarity, confidence and collaboration. the site leads strategic mindset, technical expertise, and ability to align the team are unparalleled.
if company truly values its future and wants to ensure long-term success, its imperative to let the site lead take change. continuing to allow the CTO's incompetence to dominate will only lead to further losses- of time, money, talent.
The choice is clear- Trust the capable leader already in place or watch the company falter under flawed leadership.
"Toxic work culture, Poor management, and lack of support"
The work life balance here is non-existent. On Friday evenings, you are assigned tasks with unrealistic deadlines, expecting them to be completed by Monday. There's constant micromanagement, and employees live in fear of losing there jobs for apparent no reason. Many have been forced to resign or abruptly let go without notice period.
Recognition is rare. Despite being a financially stable US-based company, there's little incentive or appreciation- sometimes it takes multiple levels of approval just to give a thousand bucks reward.
In past two years, over half the employees have resigned, replaced by new hires, creating a constant turnover. HR provides little or no support, and the management- specially in India fails to create a positive work environment.
The WFH policy is restrictive and treated as leave.
"If you are looking for growth, support or work life balance, this isn't the place"
If this review seems unbelievable feel free to check with any random employee on LinkedIn - but avoid asking management as they will likely give a very different story
Toxic work environment with poor management and lack of support:
work life balance here is virtually non-existent. employees are often handed tasks late on friday eve with impossible dedadlines for monday completion. Management heavily micromanages creating a culture of fear where job security feels uncertain. Many employees are either forced to resign or terminated abruptly without notice.
Recognition for hard work is invisible. despite being financially stable incentives and rewards are minimal and even small bonus requires too many approvals.
Employee turnover is alarmingly high.
work from home policy is very restrictive and treated as if it were a leave adding to the frustration. if you are looking for growth support and healthy work life balance avoid this company .
Instead of your hard work , HR here will be noticing what you are wearing and many small things and will be commenting on the same and instead of your achievements and work she will be focusing on what footwear you are wearing.
... Product is complex but functionalities gives real time exposure into analytics. Compensation is good, one also gets other gifts than salary apart. Overall I learned and enjoyed working here and will cherish experience gained.
Good work life balance and was great culture earlier. This has been completely deteriorated over last one year.
Dislikes
Company Culture has been deteriorated over last one year. CTO is not technical enough to understand technology issues. Incorrect way of people handling. No focus on people management. Product Engineering is incorrectly handled.
