Excellent opportunity to learn and company does support you a lot if you wish to expand your knowledge. Work culture is really good and people are very friendly and helpful. Really a great company to start your career with.

Dislikes

The only place BlackRock lacks is compensation. There is no difference between a good and hardworking employee and a non performing employee. This demotivates a serious employee and frustrates them to a point where they want to move to other organization.

Only thing I liked about the benefits they provided during Covid times.

Dislikes

Don't get attracted to the compensation they offer, they will make you 3 times more than normal work. Zero work life balance, you yourself will not look for your career growth here. You will just wait for the opportunity from other companies and will surely jump to better one. Let me tell you even you would not get sufficient time to even apply for other jobs.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive. Company policies are good.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary and annual increment is bit on the lower side than its competitors. Career growth is slow.

Employee performance matters a lot and based on the performance review and ratings, one gets promotion or appraisal on year ends. Little bit of bureaucratic structure within the organization. Knowledge wise, growth is limited for an individual as each process is distributed to different teams. Job security is not guaranteed as senior management won't think twice before laying off from work. Even the best folks are fired if they failed to meet performance expectations.
