My new employer wants me to join by 8th Jan, my current employer is not leaving me till 24th which is a long time. I requested them to reduce notice period but they denied, what should I do? Overall company is good if you are happy with your current package. Since 4 years company is always giving excuses to increase your salary in the name of covid and economic crisis. However, if you have good hold with management or with your VP. You will get good salary hike and bonuses. Finally, company is very good in terms of job security, culture and work life balance. I enjoyed my 5 years and company has always supported me during my hard time.
