Absolutely no job security at present situation. Mass layoffs are taking place blindly targeting some of the roles in the name of org restructure and new strategy adoption. Unplanned hiring and firing culture. Worse work culture.

From AVP to director all are only pushing below grade people and making their WLB hell and themselves enjoying with good salary with no work. Few department, Stakeholder is too demanding and hence always a push back on tight timelines. Being industry getting stagnant due to global recessions, less opportunities to grow and move lateral in organisation.

How much max does IBM GBS pays for lateral hires of 7A band. Selected as senior data engineer for Barclays project. YOE : 5.5 , CCTC : 15.65 lpa fixed First they offered 20 lpa fixed due to 90 days NP, but now I am getting released 1 month earlier and holding offer of 24 lpa fixed from Aditya Birla Capital. Will they match the offer if I negotiate as I can join them in 10 days.
