Total dependency on LOB for everything - their word is the law with no scope of discussion. Lousy increments and extremely delayed/ conditional promotions. Location-based bias by the management.

Really great place to work. Stable and work life balance quite good. Salary is decent as well as per market standards. Lots of perks and good employee friendly policy

Appraisal and promotions are slow and less.

Dislikes are: 1. Very Low Salary and they have stop Performance Bonus in 2011. 2. Almost no learning except what you are doing 3. Growth is very slow. 4. There were too must politics

The salary hike is gud and the cab service part is good.

Till now I am placed in Chennai office which is the worst. Please if anyone is North Indian then never ever put chennai as your preference. The people are bit coperative but the managerial part which belongs to South Indian are worst. They will shout at you for no reason whenever you try to raise a single request. The work culture is also like no one in Chennai wants to teach a north indian fresher

Your achievements won't give you promotion or appraisal. You won't get good hike of salary if you can't do butter polish to your boss.

Dislikes

... quick promotion as compared to male. So not a good comp for male employees. Other banks give good salary to employees as compared to BOA.
