Working at Bahar Infocons in fixed income corporate actions team was so enticing. Specially one needs to have enthusiasm towards financial services industry to be in FI India team catering the context of Indian corporate actions. Showing gratitude to Sunil sir & Satish more for believing in me so as to showcase my skillset even though I was an amateur. Work culture is phenomenal & events push up to adorn it. Great!! Had a great time.

There is no growth in the organization and the company is stuck at 200 employees since 20 years. If the company does not grow how are employees going to grow within the company. Team Leaders have got stuck in the same position since more than 15 years with no opportunity of becoming a Manager/ VP. They are frustrated because of this situation and grumble in private about their condition of not getting any promotions. Many individuals make fun of these TLs by saying that they have put fevicol on their chairs thereby making them look like a bunch of jokers. Backups/ Supervisors are eagerly awaiting when these TLs will leave the company and they will get their long due promotion. So there is immense pressure on these TLs to leave and make way for others. The owner is like a Lalaji sitting in his Lala company and does not have any vision or ambition to make the company grow. The future for senior employees in this company is very uncertain.

People in the company are good-natured and amiable, however be aware and get too friendly and take time to choose your circle. There are events and functions for entertainment and team-building, while the work, though repetitive and somewhat boring, is fairly easy and doesn't require too much mental prowess to do, easy money. Just put in the hours, do the work on time and efficiently and you'll have no problem. If you're a fresher who needs time to figure out your future career path and want some time to take the next step, this job can be a good solution to make money, get some experience and figure out your path. Generally the people here are good and the Boss, while seemingly strict, is an admirable and sometimes friendly person. A benevolent dictatorship would be the best way to summarize the leadership. The organisation also participates in good CSR initiative.

Although the job profile would mention Data Analyst, your actual work will be to collect data from the internet, clean it and enter it into the inhouse software. So don't fall for that if you're actually looking for a finance role. Work timings are strictly gender tailored, 7-3 for women and 3-11 pm for men. The appraisal process is seemingly long and you get the appraisal around September-October, probably a way to keep employees from leaving at march during peak hiring season. You can only expect good appraisals if you've spent a significant amount of time here, else expect 7-10 % . Also other work like some Admin or IT related work can be assigned to you depending on situation
