The work-life balance is very good. The management is reachable. Very good working culture. HR policies are good. Best place to learn from various platforms (Pluralsight, Coursera, Internal knowledge sharing forums, Internal wiki). Management encourages for innovation ideas. Conducts Hackathon on every year. Health policy, Car Lease policies are good. Employees will get AVEVA shares in 1:1 ratio.

Dislikes

... Since it's a product based company onsite opportunities are limited for 1 week. Compensation is average. Less opportunities learn new technologies from project, but there are opportunities to learn from Pluralsight and Coursera. As the employee count is 1000+, some times politics exists.

Aveva is a nice company to work with, Work culture here is convenient and comfortable. I like the fact that I am being part of a reliable, robust, and sophisticated team in developing and architecting products. I am surrounded here by good mentors and great collaborators.

Dislikes

...gh we don't get major opportunities here working with cutting-edge technologies. But, In terms of salary, there is a substantial difference compared to the market. There are no travels at all, this is a major problem to get training from the offshore team. Politics Never heard or experienced in Aveva.

Aveva is a great company that cares about the people. We always believed one Aveva one family because it used to treat everybody like a family. The environment is both professional and friendly. I love working here.

I think the salary must be normalized as per the market. I believe except our income everything is increasing in this current situation around the world, but I am sure company will do something about this.

Since, it has offices world-wide this brings opportunities to work closer with colleagues from different parts of the world having different cultures. The Work-Life balance at AVEVA is extremely good. It also offers Employee Assistance Program for well-being of employees and their families. Also, new schemes and programs are launched regularly that benefits its employees.

...uld highly defer with the one that they officially get on paper/Employee portal. This makes huge impacts on annual bonus and salary hike at end of the year. For Ex: During my Appraisal what I hear from my Manger would be of "delivered more than expectations" but the result I get on paper would be "satisfactory/meets expectations". No matter how much you push / work hard, the recognition that you get end of the day would not be encouraging. This impacts the career growth and chances of getting expected compensation/pay/promotion at end of the year is very-very low. Though there are opportunities where I have been offered with additional job role(without any job-title change), it didn't benefit me in-terms of getting pay or recognition/award. Of-course the Manager would appreciate personally and motivates to deliver same-level of outcome but that would not bring any benefits. Finally, Salary Normalization - the salary offered to an experienced AVEVA employee is lower than that of a new employee hired for similar job-level and having same-level of experience. The efforts that the management takes to correct this difference in salary is not encouraging either.
