in covid time company stand with employee, dont cut any single amount from salary so that point i like about working in asian paints

company not promote ground level employee who working with asian paints in 4-5year. this is not good sign for company growth because another company come & hire asian paints employee at good position so thats why AP loose there employee & market share.

The company is very good.I love the fact that i am a part of a team that market reliable,high-quality products, and good colour combinations for interior and exterior.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent,but growth is slow.The work pressure is very high.Sometimes,i have to work 11 hours in a day.Managers do not value an individuals unique strengths,which is why i have to take back my suggestions most of the times.I do receive appreciation emails from my client,but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals also,there is no on-job training for freshers,hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step,which is a pain sometimes.

Good salary compared to industry standards, IT infra support is good. The team members are well trained for respective jobs.

Dislikes

No personal life, no work life balance, expected to work for atleast 12 hrs in a day and on weekends and holidays as well.Too much work pressure to the extent that you are left with no peace of mind

Non sense policies of pay grade after promotion. No one works for development of the market. Multiple verticals in Sales team, No integration, no use. Company started accepting fake things.

The compensation at Area Manager and above is unmatched and much higher than industry standards along with a very robust training and induction program to ease you into the system.

Dislikes

There is no semblance of work life balance, Company has a concept of Peaking to increase revenue which means the team has to sit biweekly till 12 in the night to hit their targets which are very very aggressive. Company also doesn’t believe in economics and has a habit of setting promise numbers much higher than the growth rate of the Building and chemical industry which unnecessarily puts a lot of pressure on the sales team.
