... but the company cannot hold the employee because opportunity outside is more, Salary / Appraisal policy: Good Salary compare to other Automobile industry and appraisal part Knowledge and skill will be given priority. Travel: we will be given abroad chance those who are involved in testing and design during collaboration General: Hats-off to Ashok Leyland Ltd we are pride enough, that after retirement also we are treated in good manner, and we will be given chance to work on advisor, In my opinion that AL will flourish with the new products confirm Pollution free vehicles

Job security: we cannot expect the work relevant to the qualification, Hence new comers has facing the problem, .....jumping out. Appraisal: their is allotment in percentage to the department head for giving Increment and performance pay policy. these thing will be decided by the higher-ups with in the department, Their is no HR role.to check the actual happening,its the .negative.point should change then the knowledge of the higher ups will be ...... Promotion: based on recommendation of the Department head...... look what happens to the qualified , skilled , soft natured engineers ??????

Dislikes

... Chaos and confusions are common place and last mile delivery is so stressful. Salary policy is non existent. You can see lateral hires getting less than 10 lacs per annum CTC with more than 20 years of experience in domains other than finance or admin. But there are diploma holders with 4 or 5 years experience getting more than 10 lacs per annum . There is no equation suits the distribution.

Very few lateral entries who still working for lower bucks

Dislikes

Compensation is very low for lateral entries. And growth also very narrow. Since it is a automotive type daily work pressure will be high to meet the customers and projects requirements. During appraisal my achievements are not appreciated and considered and each time my manager tells it was management driven project. Senior HR people always telling that Ashokleyland one of the highest payers in India, which is absolute fake statement. Mid management
