Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Relation among teammates is excellent, as well as job is also secured, interestingly they are not signing any bond for freshers, poor thing is salary/appraisal is below average. Internal atmosphere is politics free, one will get good opportunity to learn faster if he/she has the caliber. But at the same time forget your personal and social life, everything is in and for office only.

Dislikes

No other benefits, like gym, canteen, tea-coffee. No work from home facility. Career growth is quit slow, as well as it very difficult for North Indian to stay here, Its quiet slow life here, especially, guys coming with Delhi, Mumbai life-style.
