1. The high salary is the trap. They give you so much, that it becomes very difficult to leave. And that's the only way they can get new talent in company 2. No appreciation at all. Very toxic culture 3. No training or skill development 4. Its a dead end job. No challenges 5. Heavily understaffed with no inclination to hiring. My team was 32 member team till 2018 which reduced to 11 people by 2023. More people were leaving it than joining. But workload remained the same

ANZ is a good company. The team which I had worked had lot of internal and group politics. There were deserving candidates for the roles. But the operation manager, She offered those roles to her ex colleagues who worked with her. I know few staffs who really hard working left because of this manager. They don't change these managers often.

So if I have to sum it up Aus ops is way better that Nz ops here in Nz ops there is micro management along with zero career growth salary being a TL or PL goes max till 5-6 L pa allowance also sucks here u get ₹100 paid for per day for doing an afternoon shift in terms of growth as well it's to much of politics they roll out positions for name sake when they have already decided the person it's like wasting other's time.

Had a nice experience working with ANZ. The work environment is good. I was in Payments Team. There’s no blame game. They work on latest technologies and provide trainings to upgrade self. There’s a job security because lot many ppl here who have 15+ or 20+ years of experience are retained here, creating a new position for them. Being a permanent employee of ANZ is a perk else they can fire contractors anytime. Work timings are Australian timings which are preferably good. You don’t need to work on weekends.

Salary is a concern, you may get a better offer outside. I had a low ctc of 15lpa in ANZ in 6-7 years of experience but when I switched the company, I got 100% hike. Even internal hike is also not good. There is no on-site opportunity here.
