This is basically a unispecialty non profitable hospital, you will never find such a beautiful environment in any other hospital, they give good salary in joining as compared to other hospitals in kolkata but number of posts are available in this hospital are less.

Dislikes

One of the most embarrassing thing is that we are working on a contractual basis under a third-party, as number of administrative posts are less here career growth is very slow. The number of staffs taking care of patients are less, that's why sometimes it seems difficult to manage a psychic patient.

Good patient exposure and good for psychiatrist migrating to Kolkata

Very high patient to psychiatrist ratio, high chances of doctor burnout, poor quality of medicines supplied by Antara pharmacy making stay in antara prolonged putting financial pressure on patient care givers

Working with people living with mental illness I felt very much heartfulness attitude towards the psychiatric patients from all staff.

Dislikes

Hear OPD service will be more transparent and easy way because the patient and their family members are not feeling struggle for entire processing.

ALL FACULTY OR STAFF ARE GOOD BUT THERE IS A MOST PROBLEMATIC MATTER JOB SECURITY ,WHO CONTROLLED THIRD PARTY, WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY FACILITY UNDER COVID-19.

Huge opportunity to learn from different clients and a good exposure to the clinical field for novice students. Psychiatrists are also very helpful and allow you the files and teach you the cases very patiently. We were guided very patiently as first-time interns and allowed to visit any wards of our choice.

Dislikes

More freedom and autonomy can be provided to the interns to organize activities for the residents which will benefit both the organization and the interns. There appears a staff crunch which if looked into could be more beneficial.
