...aim they are employee centric but I guess it depends on the process you are in. Good in terms of pay and brand name.

Internal politics and managers with inflated egos have ruined the work life balance and employee centricity. Their tall claims fall flat when employees really need assistance. Travel and Lifestyle process sucks big time as so many parameters to pull down the performance of employees. Only boot lickers are appraised here

...ut a Job but will never Join American Express again. The most toxic environment. Also, the HR did not share proper information about the in hand salary. He said you will get XYZ amount in hand but when the first salary was credited, the complete team was not happy as the PF was deducted from the in hand salary. For example he promised 60000 in hand with all deductions but we received 56500. They did not even investigate in this matter and started questioning us that whats the proof about it. Better to earn less rather than working in such toxic environment.

Salary is good in comparison to other companies

Management works with political mindset, they would always try to make people work as much as possible. They have an L rating in place which would demand you to work extra than your assigned works.

Less hardly any Opportunities, No growth at all absolute 0 growth that is what I do not like about Amex, I don't like 24*7 shift either, absolute night shifts are worst.

It's just a brand nothing else. They offer you good salary and designation so that you join, but they will ask you to leave the organization whenever they feel like with no reason. This month itself they asked there 35 employees to leave the organization as they realized that their head counts don't require this much employees.
